I am here to testify to you of Jesus’ saving grace. Jesus saved me in 2003, and I praise God for my life change! Before He saved me, I was not the spiritual leader in my marriage or for my daughters. I needed a life change. Do you need a life change? If you do, you can find a true testimony of God’s work of salvation in my book called Walking, The Way.
Regardless of one’s depravity, sin’s bondage, and captivity, God can and will deliver you. You can have hope versus despair. Belief as opposed to skepticism. You can have a faith in the only true God through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ! Do you have an intimate relationship with Jesus, or just try to be a “good person?” Do you think those “good” deeds will save you?
Jesus is the only way to eternal life … any other way leads you away from Him, believe that!
You will find Jesus’ words are truth and life! It’s Jesus through the power and work of the Holy Spirit and other disciples that make new disciples. Are you a disciple maker or just concerned about yourself? As Jesus’ disciple, we must fix our eyes on Him, because it’s the only way to end up where He is! (Hebrews 12:2)
Walking, The Way will answer the question: “What is this life God promises to give to everyone who believes?” (Romans 1:16) So when you die and you will, where will you spend eternity? You must know, it will be either in God’s presence or not, and that’s the truth! (Hebrews 9:27)
Walking, The Way
I’ve never authored a book before, believe me, it’s a tremendous task to undertake. I learned so much, and the most important thing was I needed to trust God completely, it’s that plain and simple. I needed to listen to God, submit to His will and Spirit, read, study, and meditate on His Word every day!
This time in my spiritual journey to the narrow gate has been the most inspiring thus far! Have you ever asked God a question? I hope when you did, you expected an answer. Well I can tell you; I asked a lot of questions because I needed a lot of answers. I knew God had the answers because He’s my Rabbi and I’m His disciple.
God’s Word applied when it was first penned—it applies today—and will apply forever. (Isaiah 40:8)
What you will find …
The preface of the book will give you an account of my life before Jesus saved me. You may be able to relate or you know of someone whose life is like that now. Get it for yourself or pass it on to someone who needs to hear a message of hope! Know, it’s a true testimony of God’s “deliverance and freedom” from the bondage and captivity of sin! THANK YOU, JESUS! (1 John 5:11)
Walking, The Way is a work of God. It will make you stop and think. It will cause you to question what you believe, and why you believe it. Are you up for a spiritual challenge? You will need to determine if God and His Word is the absolute authority. You will come face to face about God’s calling. The test will be if you answer His call or ignore it! There’s no gray area …
What will you do if you find God’s word conflicts with what you thought was truth? You must decide what you will do. Know your eternity rests on your decision and action. You may gain a fresh insight on the Bible, God’s Word. You will see how the Holy Spirit has been working throughout humanity’s existence. Jesus’ disciples live out love through their faith in God. Discipleship takes prayer and a lot of it to endure the trials of life. Forgiveness does begin the healing process. Our testimony is our life and work as Jesus’ disciples. You will see how confession, repentance, and forgiveness lead to God’s salvation. You will find healing and will be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20) Do you need to be reconciled to God?
It’s my prayer you read it. Know, God the Holy Spirit is leading you to His work. Move in response to His prompting, and on that day you’ll be grateful you did! I pray Walking, The Way causes you to draw near to God. Know, God promises when you do, “He will draw near to you!” (James 4:8)
I look forward to your testimony of God the Holy Spirit’s work in your life. I pray you are the next born again disciple! Then you will find yourself, as I found myself, Walking, The Way! (Psalm 139:16)
